Parents' Information 2020-21

Welcome to the Autumn Term 2020. Since the government’s announcement last month that schools should plan for the full return of all pupils for September, we have been working hard behind the scenes to put together a plan of action that will support all of our school community and ensure that it will happen as safely and as efficiently as possible. As a school, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the children back through the school gates to continue their learning.

With close reference to the Department for Education Guidance for schools, this handbook is designed to provide you with all of the information you require to support your child through a smooth transition back to Hurlingham and experience the broad and challenging curriculum that is on offer here. The main purpose behind the DfE guidance, is to empower schools to make judgements to balance and minimise the risks related to the reopening of school sites and, with this in mind, we are confident that we will be able to manage the risk effectively to provide a high quality, stimulating and enjoyable educational experience for all of our pupils.
