The nursery school day runs from 8.00 to 15.45 and is broken up into two sessions – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. However, we realise that some parents may wish to drop their children off at school early, while others might be unable to pick up their children until later in the day. Therefore, we have an “Early Bird” option which facilitates dropping off your child at 7.45 at no extra charge and our Little Learners Club is available until 18.00. These are available to all children. So, in essence, your child’s nursery day can run from 7.45 to 18.00 if you would like it to do so!

Early Bird (By Arrangement)7.45 – 8.00
Morning Session 8.00 – 12.00
Afternoon Session12.00 – 15.45
Little Learners15.45 – 18.00

During the school day, the nursery offers an extremely diverse programme of activities. Early phonics, numeracy and literacy are covered every day in some capacity, and there is a vast variety of extra-curricular activities including gymnastics, drama, multi-sports, outdoor explorers, yoga, music, French, Spanish, dance and cooking. Older pupils in our pre-school also have the opportunity to go to our Forest School on one day every week.

Children must do a minimum of four sessions per week. However, once in their final year of Nursery (the Pre-School), children must attend a minimum of six sessions, so that they can work towards being at school full-time. This will help them with the transition from Nursery to Reception/Key Stage 1. Please note that older children participating in our Forest School option will need to be in school for both morning and afternoon sessions on the allocated day for their group.
