Children are placed in one of four houses when they join the school – siblings are always in the same house.
HERON
KINGFISHER
SWAN
MALLARD
The four houses are Heron, Kingfisher, Mallard and Swan; chosen because of the School’s original location overlooking the Thames. There are inter-house competitions throughout the school year with a particular focus on Sports Day in the Summer term. House points are awarded for good work and good behaviour and each house hosts a whole-school fundraising event for a chosen charity.
